Design classic sees the light of day
Pendant and table lamp designed by Gry Fager in collaboration with Dyberg Larsen
Danish designer Gry Fager often finds her creative inspiration in patterns and prints normally associated with textiles. In recent years, Gry has mostly worked with ceramic tableware. Now, in collaboration with Dyberg Larsen, she has designed a striped ceiling light in different colour combinations.
Colourful carousels, fun Ferris wheels, hot air balloons, striped pavilions, lollipops and sweets - the lamp is created with all these things in mind.
It brings a sense of cosiness, nostalgia and happy memories of childhood amusement parks into your home in an elegant and modern way.
Gry's vision is to make people smile and give them a visual experience by taking recognisable patterns and putting them in a new context.
Gry Fager trained as a designer at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts School of Design and graduated in 2008. Since 2010 she has worked independently in her own studio.
The pendant is Gry's first lamp made in collaboration with Dyberg Larsen.

Gry graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts School of Design in 2008 and has since 2010
working independently in her own design studio.
Colourful carousels, fun Ferris wheels, hot air balloons, striped pavilions, lollipops
and sweets were the ideas behind Gry Fager's lamp designs. The Danish
designer, who often finds her creative inspiration in patterns and prints that are
related to the textile world, wanted to create a happy lamp. A lamp that
make people smile and give them a visual experience by taking recognisable
recognisable patterns and putting them into a new context.
The vision became reality and Gry created a series consisting of a table lamp
and pendant, each with red, yellow and grey stripes.
The lamps are made of white metal and have a refined brass detail on top, on which the lampshade
the lampshade rests.
